Gallery; Covered Bridges in Oregon…
When my wife and I began this “visit & photograph all the covered bridges in Oregon” project in the early 2000’s there were 51 bridges listed in the National Registry. Our effort was to find ALL of them, plus a few. We finished the “shoot ’em all” project in 2007 when we photographed the last one, the Fourtner bridge, in Grand Ronde. Most of my bridge images are for sale — some (because of personal quality-satisfaction issues) I want to re-visit & update soon as I can. I do include images of the Lowell, the Chambers Railroad and the Ritner Creek Bridges after their recent “re-builds”.
Here are our images of Oregon’s covered bridges (except for the re-build of the Wimer) — they’re posted alphabetically. I will be adding GPS co-ordinates for each as I can and I’m looking forward to re-visiting many of the bridges to try and get some more colorful seasonal images. Thank you kindly for visiting our site. Click here for a list of the bridges showing location & some engineering details.
